Joshua Wilson - 1st Assistant Golf Professional

Joshua Wilson was born and raised in San Bernardino Ca. He moved to the city of Yucaipa when he was 13 years old, where he was introduced to the game of golf. All it took was one visit to the driving range with his father. For the next three years he devoted his time and energy to become the best golfer he could be.

In High School, he played on the varsity golf team where experienced great success. In his freshman year he held the number 2 position and moved to the number 1 position as he transition into is Sophomore year all the way through his Senior year. Throughout his career , he won two CIF section events, was invited to nationals, participated in Nationwide Tour qualifiers, as well as PGA Tour qualifiers. Josh is also the course record holder at Calimesa Country Club having shot a 59.

In January 2005, he enrolled himself in PGCC (Professional Golfers Career College) to purse an education in the Golf Business. He successfully completed the 16 month program, earning his Associates Degree in Business Management. Following is graduation Josh moved to Tucson for and was employed by Troon Golf at La Paloma Country Club. After a few years of pursuing his passion as a Golf Professional, he found his way back to the Coachella Valley where he joined us at Rancho Las Palmas in October of 2009.

As his journey continues at Rancho Las Palmas, Joshua is striving to take on new challenges. He has operated both the Men’s Club and the Ladies’ Club with great success. Joshua really excels is his love of working with people on their own game and has become one of our members favorites.
